Brief Description

  1. Clippings from the Waikato Times on a serialised history of Cambridge by William Rout in 1897. Information was gathered by the Trustees of the Cambridge Public Library to record the reign of Queen Victoria in 1897 with the intention of then depositing the information in the Cambridge Museum. Miss Mary Selina Neal was thanked for her zeal, time and labour she expended in rescuing the incidents of the early settlement from oblivion. Much of the information was supplied by Charles Chitty, Robert McVeagh, Ben Booth, Thos Wells, Jas Hally and Geo J Neal.
  2. Typed copy of the articles produced by Mrs Moira Penman in 1985.
