The Friends of Cambridge Museum are a welcoming community of people who value the history, heritage and future of the Cambridge area. As part of the Cambridge Historical Society, Friends help ensure our museum remains a vibrant place for everyone to enjoy.
Whether you love local history, enjoy meeting like-minded people, or simply want to support your museum, becoming a Friend is a meaningful way to get involved.
As a Friend, you can enjoy:
- Invitations to talks, tours and special events, including the Historical Lecture Series presented in partnership with U3A Cambridge. (See What’s On)
- Regular email updates featuring the Friends Programme, museum news and highlights from recent events.
- Opportunities to volunteer, participate in working bees and experience the museum behind the scenes.
- Free access to our research library.
- Complimentary membership of the Cambridge Historical Society.
