Cambridge Museum is developing new learning resources and experiences to support the New Zealand Curriculum | Te Mātaiaho, including the refreshed Social Sciences learning area.
The new curriculum places increased emphasis on students exploring people, places, events and change over time, and on learning how to use sources and evidence to understand the past.

Our collection contains photographs, maps, documents, newspapers, oral histories and objects that provide direct evidence of life in Cambridge and the surrounding district. They allow students to begin asking the big questions:
What is this? Who used it? What does it tell us? What has changed? Whose story are we hearing? What other evidence do we need?
