In March 2024, Cambridge Museum partnered with the Cambridge Town Hall Community Trust to put on a photography exhibition titled “Capturing Cambridge” as part of the annual Autumn Festival.
The exhibition featured images from Cambridge photographer Reg Buckingham that provided glimpses of people who lived and worked in and around the town between the 1960s and 1980s.
The images were a series of encounters that revealed interests, passions and experiences that recur and connect people across time. The threads wove a picture of Cambridge past and present that focused on its people.
