Historic Cambridge residents with ‘Z’ Surnames

ZYLSTRA John

John was born 1828 in Holland. He was a miner and 5′ 9½” tall when he enlisted in the 3rd Waikato Militia on 8 December 1863 in Dunedin. He was a Private, Regiment number 1066, and was granted one acre of land section 195 in Cambridge West and a farm section 2 at Ohaupo.
