Become a Friend

The Friends of Cambridge Museum are part of the Historical Society community. Members support the Historical Society by regularly visiting the museum to view exhibitions, by attending a wide range of programmes, and by contributing to the museum’s collections.
 
By becoming a Friend of Cambridge Museum, you will receive a host of benefits, such as:

  • Attending talks, tours and other special events, including the Historical Lecture Series presented in partnership with U3A Cambridge
  • Receiving regular email newsletters to stay up to date with the Friends’ Programme, news from Cambridge Museum and reviews of past Friends Events
  • Having the opportunity to work “behind the scenes” at the museum through our volunteer or working bee programmes
  • Enjoying free access to our research library
  • Receiving complimentary membership to the Cambridge Historical Society.

How do you become a Friend of Cambridge Museum?

Memberships can be purchased at the Museum, by emailing secretary.cbhs@gmail.com, or by completing the form below.

Payments may be made by:

  • internet banking to the Society’s bank account 03 1568 0041635 00. Please type your surname and initials under “Reference”.
  • cash. Please pay at the Cambridge Museum, The Old Courthouse, 24 Victoria Street, Cambridge.
